Back to ListArtisan
You spent years as an apprentice learning a specific trade, working long hours under the watchful eye of a master craftsperson. Whether you shaped metal at the forge, cut and stitched leather, carved wood into functional art, or practiced any of dozens of other trades, you developed not just technical skill but an understanding of materials, tools, and the patient discipline required to create something lasting. Your hands remember the work even now, and you carry the pride of your craft wherever you go.

Once per long rest, when a nonmagical object, weapon, armor, or piece of equipment is broken or damaged, you can spend 10 minutes performing repairs using whatever materials are at hand. The item functions normally for 6 hours, after which it returns to its broken state unless properly repaired. If used on a weapon or armor, the repaired item will also break again if you roll a natural 1 on an attack roll with the weapon or an enemy rolls a natural 20 on an attack against the character wearing the armor.
